I have been a PS player since the Matrix days and while I usually don't post on forums I needed to add this. The game (SB) is a small step up from the current PS but if the MLB yearly stats are not upgraded I may as well stay with PS and not have to deal with the screen size factor. Are new season stats going to be made available or are the changes in the Lahman data made it too difficult to convert them to your game? KC130FR

Hey, KC... Welcome!!
As far as, I know... The Lahman database get updated after the conclusion of the previous season (such with last 2016 season and there's another database Crash uses that has all the latest BB players 2017... )... With Crash's SB format, the Historical seasons will end after 2017, and one must restart to wherever one set their original point (1920 to 2017)...
With PS, I believe it ended at 2012...
Is this the answer to the question you are seeking ??

KC130FR I can't speak for any other game, but, Strategy BB historical players database has been upgraded every year after the latest Lahman Database was posted. As I'm sure you are aware, Sean Lahman no longer updates his data base as of 2016. A different group has now taken over updating the database each year going forward. And that is the database Strategy Baseball will use.

I see the updates have been done. Now if you could make the game available to those of us whose screen is not compatible with the game you'd make a fan (or customer) for life. I'm a 70 year old retired U.S. Marine that can't afford $400 for a new monitor just to play this game. KC130FR

Morning, kc... Remember, it's not the monitor but the capability of the screen resolution... try to see if you can set the following screen resolution to:
Various screens optimized for the various resolutions:
Recommended Screen Sizes
-----------------------------
1920x1200
1920x1080
Playable Screen Sizes
---------------------------
1856x1392
1800x1440
1792x1344
1776x1000
1680x1050
1600x900
Unsupported Screen Sizes
------------------------------
1600x1200
1440x900 and anything less
Playable Screen Sizes means: you'll be able to play the game and the navigation buttons will be visible, but, some screens have had content removed, re-arranged or in some cases simply cut-off on the right-side of screen. Where scrollbars aren't visible on the right side the gamer will have to use his mouse wheel to scroll the screen.
Luck of the Irish to you, mate...
