Is there a way, one can do all the positions, of positions, balls location... all at once, rather moving one position and update - one at a time... time consuming... ugh
Lets take the fielder positions and runner positions as an example. You can move them all to new locations and then click Update Screen. The new positions will be updated on the screen. Then tweak individual positions as you like.
Ball Flight locations are a bit more tedious because there are so many of them and therefore difficult to do all at one time.
What I generally like to do when I set ball flight locations... 1) Start by setting all the foul ball locations first outside the playing lines. Hit Update Screen. 2) Then set all my infield ball locations. Hit Update Screen. 3) Then set all my left field ball locations. Hit Update Screen. 4) Same way with CF and RF. Hit Update Screen after each.
At this point, I have them generally located and grouped appropriately. You can tweak individual ball locations as needed.
I've developed a few habits over the years with ball locations: 1) locations with "X" I place on the outfield walls 2) middle infield locations (ie., 4MS, 6MD) I place on either side of 2nd base spaced accordingly.
If you like I can attach a pic of how I generally set my ball locations. It moves along pretty swiftly when you get the hang of it.
Jabez, when you have finished with your ballparks I would strongly suggest Exporting each one and saving as a .prk file; and then making backups of them to save in a folder. That way, when you create a new fictional assn you don't have to go through re-configuring them again. When v7.01 comes out it will be necessary to start new assn's. No timeline yet on when that release will be ready.
